- The platform fee is a percentage of the post-refund cleared GMV on each fulfilled order. It covers payment processing, order routing, tracking sync, and support automation. Your base cost (production + shipping) and margin are separate — you always see the full breakdown before publishing.
- Can I start free and upgrade later?
- Yes. The Starter plan is free forever with a 5% platform fee. As your volume grows and you want a lower fee or team features, upgrade to Creator, Brand, or Scale at any time — your listings, orders, and history carry over.
- Are there any hidden costs?
- No hidden fees. You pay the subscription (if applicable), the platform fee per order, and the base cost of each product (production + shipping to the customer). Managed checkout adds +0.5% for payment processing. Everything is shown before you publish.
- What payment methods do you support?
- We integrate with major payment processors so your customers can pay with credit/debit cards. Payouts to your account are handled automatically on a regular schedule visible in your dashboard.
- Can I cancel or downgrade at any time?
- Yes. Plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. Downgrade or cancel from your account settings. Active listings stay live — only your platform fee rate changes.
- Do I need to handle shipping or inventory?
- No. OnDemand Merchworks is 100% print-on-demand. Orders go directly to our print partners who produce, pack, and ship to your customers. You never touch inventory.
